Westman Communications Group (WCG) has announced that St. Claude will be the fifth and final location of the 2023 Connecting Westman Tour on August 24th. WCG created the Tour to connect with its communities and raise funds for a local charity its residents chose with a charity barbecue. As of this year, the Connecting Westman Tour has raised over $12,000 for initiatives in Swan River, Onanole, Melita, and Carberry.

The WCG Connecting Westman Tour will arrive in St. Claude on August 24th to hold its charity barbecue, serving hotdogs and smokies at Mile 60 Park. The event will run from 11:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. All proceeds will be donated to Mile 60 Park. Mile 60 Park received the most votes from the St. Claude community and has been a pillar in the community and has hosted several gatherings, baseball games and soccer matches. All funds raised will be contributed to purchasing the required hardware to offer public Wi-Fi to park patrons.

“We are proud to support local initiatives and make a positive impact in the communities we serve,” said Marketing Manager Brandi Crowe. “After hosting four charity barbecue events this summer, it’s clear how appreciated the Connecting Westman Tour is to the communities we visit. We’re looking forward to visiting St. Claude to help support an integral part of the community.”

The Connecting Westman Tour will finish its 2023 run in St. Claude.
