"The 2023 WCG Student Contest"

September 11, 2023 to October 5, 2023.

ENTER FOR A CHANCE TO WIN:

Grand Prize of an Apple Watch Series 8.

1. HOW TO ENTER:

i. . To enter the Contest, Entrants (1) must complete the digital scavenger hunt and find at least one of three hidden icons on the WCG Website (westmancom.com). Once an icon is found by the entrant, the contest form must be submitted with the correct answer of the icon's location. This contest is sponsored by Westman Communications Group (“Westman”). NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

2. CONTEST PERIOD:

The contest period will begin at 12:00 p.m. Central Standard Time (“CST”) on Monday, September 11, 2023 and will end at 11:59 a.m. CST on Thursday, October 5, 2023 (the “Contest Period”) after which time the contest will be closed and no further entries shall be accepted.

3. ELIGIBILITY:

To enter and be eligible to win, the entrant must be:

i.  An active secondary student attending college or University;

ii. Must be within one of our connected communities;

iii.  and of the age of majority in Manitoba or older at the time of entry.

Employees, officers and directors of Westman and its partners and associate companies, their advertising and promotional agencies and their respective affiliates and associates, and such individual’s immediate family members and persons with whom such individuals are domiciled, are not eligible to enter or participate in this contest. For these official rules, “immediate family” refers to the father, mother, brothers, sisters, children, husband, wife or partner of such an employee, agent and/or representative. A winner of a Westman contest within three (3) months preceding September 11, 2023 (including persons designated by such winners to take ownership of the prize) and persons domiciled with such a winner are not eligible to enter.

4.  ENTRY:

One (1) entry form is allotted per entrant. Each entrant has three (3) chances of entry, dependant on number of icons found and submitted correctly. 

5. PRIZE: 

i.       There is one (1) prize available to be awarded - Grand Prize of an Apple Watch Series 8 - 41mm - GPS - Midnight Aluminum Case with Midnight Sport Band.

ii.      The prizes have an approximate value of five hundred and twenty nine Canadian Dollars ($529.00 CDN) plus tax.

iii.  Winner is not entitled to monetary difference between the actual prize value and stated approximate prize value, if any.

iv.    A Westman representative(s) will contact the winner to coordinate prize arrangements within two (2) business days of prize draw. The winner has up seven (7) days after being contacted and notified of his/her prize to fulfill the requirements set out herein.

v.      The prize is not redeemable in cash and is not transferable. The prize must be accepted as awarded — no substitutions at the request of winning entrant will be made, except at the sole discretion of Westman.

vi.  Westman reserves the right, in its absolute and sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of the prize or component of the prize for any reason whatsoever.

vii. Additional expenses on top of the awarded prizes are the responsibility of the winning member.

viii. Shipping or delivery of the prize is the responsibility of the winning member.

ix.    Westman shall not assume any liability for lost, damaged or misdirected prizes.

6. GENERAL: 

i.      The odds of winning the prize will depend upon the total number of eligible entries during the contest period.

ii.    Decisions of the contest judges (Westman) are final — no substitutions will be available.

iii. By entering the contest, the entrant understands and agrees that Westman will collect, use and disclose her/his personal information only in relation to this contest. Westman’s privacy policy is available at westmancom.com/privacy-policy-ccts/. Any questions regarding Westman’s privacy policy or the treatment of your personal information should be directed to the Westman Privacy Officer. Personal information collected for Westman will be used in accordance with the Westman program rules and Westman’s Privacy Policy. No additional personal information is collected for this contest.

iv. All inquiries regarding the contest should be directed to WCG Marketing.
