Megabits per second (Mbps) is a unit of measurement for bandwidth. Meaning it describes the speed of an Internet connection. The more Mbps you have, the faster your internet.
Download speed means the receiving time. Which is the rate that data is received from the internet to your computer. Like downloading a video from email.
The term Ping is the reaction time of your connection, or how fast you get a response after you've sent out a request. Such as the connection from your computer to a website. Ping is normally expressed in milliseconds (ms).
Upload speed is sending time. The rate that data is transferred from your computer to the Internet. Like posting a picture to social media.

Equipment remains the property of Westman and must be returned if service is cancelled to avoid additional charges. Member is responsible for the use of equipment: Do not expose to heat sources, rain/moisture, or temperature extremes. Promotional prices are only available in select communities. Special agreements required for select communities. Rental term is month to month. Unless otherwise stated, your bundle discount will not be applied during any promotion or combined with any other offer. Any portion of the Westman bundle offer may be modified, discounted, or terminated at any time. Introduction rates available in select areas. Other conditions may apply.
Internet speeds may vary (and are not guaranteed) depending on many factors, including, but not limited to, the distance between the Member’s and Westman’s equipment, Member’s technical configuration, Internet traffic, server, Member’s environment, simultaneous use of IPTV (if applicable) and applicable network management. Factors impacting speeds include, but are not limited to, Member equipment, your configuration, Internet traffic, and applicable network management. The range of Wi-Fi signal may vary due to electromagnetic interference, home construction material, obstructions, and other environmental factors. Service is subject to our Internet Use Policy and Fair Use Policy.
1 Each Internet Plan requires a wired modem to access the service. 1 standard wired modem box rental is included in the price of each package. Rental term is month to month. All rental equipment is the property of Westman Communications Group. All rental equipment must be returned to Westman Communications Group when services are terminated to avoid additional charges. Enhanced Home Wi-Fi is not included and is available at an additional cost.
