WCG's #ConnectingWestman Tour Gives Back To The Neepawa, MB Community

Westman Communications Group (WCG) was with Neepawa, MB community, last Thursday, August 25, 2022, for its third stop of this year’s #ConnectingWestman Tour. A charity barbecue was held at the Neepawa Co-op Food Store to benefit the local non-profit organization, Cats TNR & Rescue. Through this event, the generous people of Neepawa came out and raised $2,017; WCG matched this with its dollar-for-dollar donation and turned over a total of $4,034 to Cats TNR & Rescue.

“It was fantastic. The amount of people and money that came in was just phenomenal,” said Martha Bennett, Fundraising Manager of Cats TNR & Rescue. “We have roughly 70 cats and kittens, and this donation is going to go towards vet bills; believe me, we have lots of those, and they’re very high. Lots of cats and kittens need neutered and fed, so this money will be a big help towards that.”

“As with the #ConnectingWestman Tour’s previous visits to our other communities, we are pleased with the turn-out here in Neepawa and the tremendous support they have shown to us and to their selected charity,” said Westman Communications Group Marketing Manager Courtney Baxter. “We raised and donated more than $4,000 for a good cause. This is a great opportunity for us to connect and give back to the community of Neepawa.”

Westman Communication Group will wrap up this year’s #ConnectingWestman Tour with its next stop in Roblin, MB, on September 8.
