Westman Communications Group (WCG) is officially back on the road, keeping in touch with its communities with the 2022 #ConnectingWestman Tour! Its comeback run in Minnedosa Thursday, June 30, 2022, was a smashing success. The charity barbecue attracted a sizable crowd that came out to show support and donated $1,555.25 to benefit the Minnedosa & Area Food Bank. WCG matched this donation dollar-for-dollar for a total of $3,110.50 for the Food Bank.
“It is great to be back with our communities again after two years of COVID-19 health restrictions. We are incredibly pleased with how the town of Minnedosa received the first stop on the #ConnectingWestman Tour,” said Westman Communications Group Marketing Manager Courtney Baxter. “It was wonderful to see everyone come out on this beautiful summer day. We raised more than $3,000 for the Minnedosa & Area Food Bank, and we would like to thank everyone who showed support today.”
The #ConnectingWestman Tour will be making its next stop in Dauphin on July 21, 2022, followed by Neepawa on August 25, before wrapping up in Roblin on September 8.
