Westman Communications Group Announces The 2024 WCG Technology Scholarship

Westman Communications Group (WCG) announced the WCG Technology Scholarship has returned for 2024 high school graduates. This scholarship provides five awards of $5,000 to students of high academic standing and who are entering a technology-based field of study in a Canadian post-secondary educational institute. Applications will be accepted until May 31, 2024.  

The WCG Technology Scholarship was re-introduced in 2023 to create a significant impact on the futures of scholars in Westman, and to bolster technology-based fields of industry. As in 2023, the 2024 program will award a total of $25,000 to five applicants of high academic standing and a history of community service.  

“At WCG, we are constantly inspired by the innovative ideas that the next generation brings to our industry,” said WCG Marketing Manager Brandi Crowe. “By aiding students financially, the WCG Technology Scholarship provides an opportunity for students to focus more on excelling in their studies and less on making ends meet. Our scholarship program was greatly received in 2023, and we are excited to see the next generation of graduates apply this year.” 

Applications are open as of March 19, 2024, and will close on May 31, 2024.
