No Internet Connection

Quick tips to resolve connection interuptions.

If you’re unable to connect to the internet, follow these simple steps to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Check All Cables
    • Make sure all cables are securely connected. Confirm that the power cable, and the cable connecting your modem/router to the wall, are firmly in place.
  2. Look for Lights on Your Modem/Router
    • Check if the lights on your modem or router are on. If they’re off, the device might not be receiving power. Double-check the power cable and ensure the outlet is working.
  3. Restart Your Modem and Router
    • Unplug your modem and router from the power outlet, wait 10 seconds, and plug them back in. Allow up to 5 minutes for them to fully reboot and reconnect to the network.
  4. Check for a Service Outage
    • Visit the Westman Communications Group Service Interruptions page to see if there’s an outage affecting your area.
