The contest period will begin at 9:00 a.m. Central Standard Time (“CST”) on Monday, January 8, 2024, and will end at 11:59 p.m. CST on Friday, February 23, 2024 (the “Contest Period”). After that time, the contest will be closed, and no further entries shall be accepted.
To enter and be eligible to win, the entrant must be:
Employees, officers, and directors of WCG and its partners and associate companies, their advertising and promotional agencies and their respective affiliates and associates, and such individuals’ immediate family members and persons with whom such individuals are domiciled are not eligible to enter or participate in this contest. For these official rules, “immediate family” refers to the father, mother, brothers, sisters, children, husband, wife or partner of such an employee, agent and/or representative. A winner of a WCG contest within three (3) months preceding January 8, 2024 (including persons designated by such winners to take ownership of the prize) and persons domiciled with such a winner are not eligible to enter.
All entries become WCG’s sole property, and none will be returned for any reason. WCG shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in the contest. Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification. All personal and other information requested by and supplied to WCG for the purpose of the contest must be truthful, complete, accurate, and in no way misleading. WCG reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant should such an entrant at any stage supply untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading personal details and/or information.
One (1) entry is allotted to each loyal member of two (2) years or more and members of five (5) years or more. In the event of a dispute, entries shall be deemed to be submitted on behalf of the “Authorized Account Holder” of the account. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person whose name is assigned to a WCG account; that is, their name is the primary name of the account. If it is discovered that you attempted to enter more than once, all entries will be void.
i. There are five (5) prizes available to be awarded.
ii. The prizes have an approximate value of three thousand five hundred Canadian Dollars ($3,500.00 CDN), four thousand Canadian Dollars ($4,000.00 CDN), one thousand Canadian Dollars ($1,00.00 CDN), one thousand Canadian Dollars ($1000.00 CDN), and five hundred Canadian Dollars ($500.00 CDN).
iii. Winner is not entitled to monetary difference between the actual prize value and the stated approximate prize value, if any.
iv. A WCG representative(s) will contact the winner to coordinate prize arrangements within two (2) business days of the prize draw. The winner has seven (7) days to accept the prize and any requirements after being contacted and notified of their prize.
v. The prizes are not redeemable in cash and are not transferable. The prize must be accepted as awarded – no substitutions at the request of the winning entrant will be made, except at the sole discretion of WCG.
vi. Additional expenses on top of the awarded prizes are the responsibility of the winning member. Shipping or delivering the prize is the responsibility of the winning member.
vii. WCG shall not assume liability for lost, damaged, or misdirected prizes.
i. Five (5) random draws will take place and be announced on social media on Friday, February 23, 2024.
ii. The odds of winning the prize will depend upon the total number of eligible entries during the contest period.
iii. WCG, acting reasonably, will attempt to contact the potential winner via email or phone within two (2) business days after the draw. If the potential prize winner cannot be contacted within two (2) business days after the draw or is contacted but does not accept the prize within seven (7) days after the draw. In that case, they will be disqualified, and WCG reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to randomly select an alternate eligible entrant from among the remaining eligible entries. Upon notification, the selected entrant must respond by phone or email to the contact number or email address provided in the notification. WCG must receive the entrant’s response within three (3) business days of such notification. If the selected entrant does not respond in accordance with the contest rules, they will be disqualified and will not receive a prize. Another entrant may be selected at WCG’s sole discretion until an entrant satisfies the terms set out herein. WCG is not responsible for the failure for any reason whatsoever of a selected entrant to receive notification or for WCG to receive a selected entrant’s response. Proof of identification must be provided upon request.
iv. Decisions of the contest judges (WCG) are final – no substitutions will be available.
v. Before being awarded the prize, the potential winner will be required to sign a full release and indemnity form (the “Release”) as prepared by WCG, acknowledging and confirming the following:
vi. Once WCG receives the release, WCG will award the prize.
vii. By entering the contest, the entrant releases and holds the releasees harmless from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to the entrant or any other person, including personal injury, death, or property damage, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, participation in the contest, any breach of the contest rules, or in any prize-related activity. The entrant agrees to fully indemnify the releasees from any and all claims by third parties relating to the contest without limitation.
viii. In the event the potential winner does not comply with all the provisions as contemplated in these contest rules, WCG shall have the right to disqualify the winner and draw an alternate winner. WCG shall be fully and completely released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard. The provisions and procedures referred to above relating to the selection and notification of a potential winner shall be applied, with the necessary amendments, until a qualified prize winner has been duly selected.
ix. WCG assumes no responsibility or liability for lost, late, unintelligible/illegible, falsified, damaged, misdirected or incomplete entries, notifications, responses, replies or any Release, or for any computer, online, software, telephone, hardware or technical malfunctions that may occur, including but not limited to malfunctions that may affect the transmission or non-transmission of an entry. WCG is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the contest. WCG assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of entries. WCG is not responsible for any problems, failures or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, online computer systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, email, players, or browsers, on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, at any website, or on account of any combination of the preceding or otherwise. WCG is not responsible for any injury or damage to the entrant or to any computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this contest. Entrant assumes liability for injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the contest or by the acceptance, possession, use of, or failure to receive any prize. WCG assumes no responsibility or liability in the event that the contest cannot be conducted as planned for any reason, including those reasons beyond the control of the Sponsors (if any), such as infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or corruption of the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this contest, and/or the contest website. x. All entries are subject to verification. Since each qualified member is automatically entered by not indicating you want out or by not calling or emailing to opt out of this contest, each entrant agrees to be bound by the contest rules. Entrants further agree to be bound by the decisions of WCG, which shall be final and binding in all respects. WCG reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant found to be: (a) violating the contest rules; (b) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the contest, or any related promotional website; (c) using any automated script, macro, robotic or another program (s) to enter or otherwise participate in this contest; (d) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

xiv. By entering the contest, the entrant understands and agrees that WCG will collect, use and disclose their personal information only in relation to this contest. xv. This contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. The Contest Rules are subject to change without notice in order to comply with any applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws or the policy of any other entity having jurisdiction over WCG. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the contest Rules or the rights and obligations between the entrant and WCG in connection with the contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Manitoba, including procedural provisions without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction’s laws.

The stay includes seven (7) nights and up to four (4) people in occupancy. The prize consists of a three thousand five hundred dollars ($3,500.00 CDN) gift card to the Elkhorn Resort & Spa., which can be used to book the rooms, spa services, and food from the Buffalo Bar (Elkhorn Resort’s restaurant). Second Place Draw: One (1) prize is available to be rewarded for two thousand dollars ($2,000.00 CDN) in cash for the winning member and two thousand dollars ($2,000.00 CDN) for a Canadian charity of the winner’s choice. Charity must be chosen no later than April 30, 2024.
Third Prize Draw: One (1) prize is available to be rewarded for a Sleep and Ski Package deal by the Russell Inn and the Asessippi Ski Resort. This package deal includes a 2-night stay at the Russell Inn, and three (3) lift passes for two (2) people to the Asessippi Ski Resort valued at one thousand dollars ($1,000.00 CDN). Dates are subject to availability. The Sleep and Ski Package Deal Certificate must be used no later than March 30, 2023. Certificate must be presented upon arrival.

They release WCG, and each of their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, associates and/or related companies and agents and each of their employees, directors, officers, suppliers, agents, sponsors, administrators, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense arising out of participation in the contest, participation in any contest-related activity or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize, including but not limited to costs, injuries, losses related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light, or from any and all claims of third parties arising from there;
Authorizes WCG to broadcast, publish and disseminate their name, city of residence, photograph, likeness, pseudonym and voice in connection with any promotion or publicity and/or for general news, entertainment and information purposes at no additional compensation to the potential prize winner beyond the awarding of or participation in the prize to the extent permitted by law.
In the event the release is not signed and returned within the time stipulated by WCG, the winner will be deemed to have forfeited their prize. WCG reserves the right to select another winner at its sole discretion.
vi. Once WCG receives the release, WCG will award the prize.
vii. x. All entries are subject to verification. Since each qualified member is automatically entered by not indicating you want out or by not calling or emailing to opt out of this contest, each entrant agrees to be bound by the contest rules. Entrants further agree to be bound by the decisions of WCG, which shall be final and binding in all respects. WCG reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant found to be: (a) violating the contest rules; (b) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the contest, or any related promotional website; (c) using any automated script, macro, robotic or another program (s) to enter or otherwise participate in this contest; (d) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

Personal information collected for WCG will be used in accordance with the WCG program rules and WCG’s Privacy Policy. No additional personal information is collected for this contest.
xv. This contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. The Contest Rules are subject to change without notice in order to comply with any applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws or the policy of any other entity having jurisdiction over WCG. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the contest Rules or the rights and obligations between the entrant and WCG in connection with the contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Manitoba, including procedural provisions without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction’s laws.
