Whether you are working from home or wanting to game out online without Wi-Fi disruptions, these tips are for you!

Can you think of a time you were waiting for your TV show to load, experiencing a poor connection during a video call, or even streaming a game and suddenly, your Wi-Fi drops? All these moments when your Wi-Fi does not perform at its best can be frustrating.

While Wi-Fi can sometimes be unpredictable, there are a couple of ways that you can ensure you allow your router to deliver a better Wi-Fi connection. Keep on reading to learn the top 10 tips for better Wi-Fi!

1. When possible, use a wire

Wait, isn’t this article about wireless connection? We promise it is! However, using an Ethernet wire will increase your internet speed and lessen the chances of losing Wi-Fi connectivity.

2. Router placement matters

We are often inclined to hide the router out of sight and put away all the cables at all costs. It can be tricky to match your router to your home décor!

Walls, home appliances, and other barriers can weaken your Wi-Fi signal. Make sure your router is high off the floor and in a central location as close to your Wi-Fi-connected devices as possible.

3. Give your router a break

“Have you tried turning it off and back on?” We know what you are thinking; this is the typical question you hear when you have Wi-Fi issues, but sometimes restarting your router can solve many underlying problems. We all need a break after a while, even your router!

We promised ten tips for better Wi-Fi, and we are here to deliver! Watch the video below to learn more tips to improve Wi-Fi performance.
